James Kashindi asked Kim Linder, Honeywell FM&T AddedThursday, September 1, 2022 at 10:28 AM As a mechanical engineer is there any coding that has to be done for certain projects? Engineers typically work in teams, so a variety of members of the team could be the ones to do the coding. It is good for mechanical engineers to have at least a rudimentary understanding of coding, even if they do not perform the coding in projects. If the coding is a substantial part of a project, typically someone with a computer science background would be the one with the expertise on the team to perform the coding. I hope this helps!
