  • What I Do

I am working as an Application Developer in Oracle India since last one year. Our team provides some of the best solutions to the Utility Industry to manage their Assets and Work while focusing on our environment too.

  • School Days

I completed my Senior School education in Science stream aligning it with my goal to go for Engineering. My school days were full of everything a teen student could have gone through, from early morning and late night studies, struggling to reach the bus stop on bicycle to catch the bus to the city where I was studying, managing high tuition fees being a child of a farmer, improper tuition times due to transportation/weather issues, dropping off the tuition completely, learning every day, having fun with friends at school and looking forward to my dreams.

  • Best Part

The best part of being an Engineer for me is to grow and achieve more than my capability and learning at a pace always. I am astonished to see the ways we can unleash the strong engineer character out of us when we get to peform more than our capabilities.

  • Proud Moments

I am proudest of these times - Receiving Scholarship in Senior School education, Publishing 2 articles in the Computer Society of India(CSI) magazine, securing a job and being an inspiration to the girls in our village and seeing them following their dreams.

  • Challenges

I studied in Government schools during my education. It was like an unknown dream for a farmer's daughter to go to college and that too by choosing engineering. My family and I have faced a lot of hardships in becoming what I am today. I am grateful for each and every challenge I came across as it made me more stronger every time.

  • My Family

We are a family of five. My father is a minor farmer and my mom is a superb home maker. I have two siblings, eldest sister is married and has a 2 year old kid and my younger brother completed his diploma this year.

  • Inspiration

My parents. I believe they showed us live how we can work hard, live a life, be kind to others, stay strong and still have the courage to fight the world for our family and dreams.

  • Want to be an Engineer?

Learn something every day and my second advice would be - ignore the words that outside world says to you. At the end, the only thing matters is you and your dreams.

  • Hobbies

I am into reading books, writing and drawing (a bit). I am an admirer of Khaled Hosseini's books, The Kite Runner being the favorite one. I have read and praised the fictional writings of Paulo Coelho.
