  • What I Do

I work for the network engineering team and am solely responsible for third party communication final billing.

  • Why Engineering?

I chose the engineering field, because in Verizon, engineering leads the company into the future with both design and development. I wanted to be part of the team responsible for bring ideas to fruition. I, however do not have an education or experience in engineering, so for now I help finalize bills and reimbursements.

  • School Days

I have an undergraduate degree from Queens College, CUNY, in Economics.

  • My Day At Work

For now, my day consists of reviewing charges and payments obtained by engineers and third part communication companies. I ensure that all payments are collected or bills are closed for the work Verizon does for those companies.

  • Best Part

Although, my title is a network engineer, I myself am not designing. However, my favorite part is knowing that the success of my company depends on how well my team performs, and my job is critical to the profit of their performance.

  • Proud Moments

Without any experience in this field, my proudest moment was given the opportunity to show how much I care about this cause, when given the position.

  • Challenges
