Why Engineering? I chose engineering because of my love for math. My first semester of college, I was pursuing a degree in chemistry and found myself tutoring my friends in their engineering calculus courses. During this time I realized I missed math, switched to chemical engineering and have not regretted my decision since then.
School Days I attended the University of Louisville in Kentucky and received my Master's in Chemical Engineering. Go Cards!!!
My Family My family is amazing! I have an older brother who is one of my biggest role models. My parents are the best and still live in Kentucky, where I grew up. We love spending time outside and having game nights!
Inspiration My parents have influenced and shaped me into the person I am today. I have also been blessed with so many amazing mentors at work who have empowered and lifted me up in my career path.
Want to be an Engineer? Do not be afraid to pursue your dreams. Always reach out to others, do not be afraid to admit you do not know an answer and ask plenty of questions. Most importantly, find mentors to help guide and empower you.
Hobbies I love all outdoor activities! Walking my dog, running, biking, swimming and spending time at the lake boating.
