EngineerGirl Ambassadors haave designed and developed programs to encourage young girls – particularly those with little access to engineering role models – to think about engineering careers and give them practical experience in engineering design. The first class of EngineerGirl Amabassadors developed and implemented projects during the 2018-2019 academic year. They created an after-school program, robotics expo for Girl Scouts, and an engineering club; and one expanded a tutoring and mentoring program for underrepresented students.
