What can computer engineers do?

Hello! I???m a freshman thinking about majoring in computer engineering. I wanted to know any cool jobs computer engineers can do? Can they work with animals? Can they work with the military*? All I???m told when discussing computer engineering jobs are deadlines and cubicles, so I wanted to know if there were more excited jobs.

*I don???t wanna be IN the military but can you work for them?
