I wanted to be a representation in the small percentage of Latin Female Engineers and continue learning about the unknown in science to reach better solutions in the energy industry.

I attended USC, graduated 2018 & I obtained a Chemical Engineer degree.

Financial insecurity has been one of the biggest challenges that almost prevented me from obtaining my degree in engineering.

I am originally from Mexico and I have five siblings. My mom became a widow when I was nine years old, I have been my mom's right hand since then.

1-2 years: Obtained more industry experience and save money for my masters and PhD
10+ years: PhD Sustainability/Energy Resources to execute research in new energy technologies and reach the unknown.

My family is my biggest inspiration aside from Albert Einstein and Marie Curie of course.

Always believe in yourself and if you see one door closing, know that over time, others will open. Perseverance is the key to success. Never give up, stay positive, and keep your mind and body active.
