Should I add a renewable engineering module to my chemical engineering degree program?

What are the future benefits of adding a renewable engineering module to my chemical engineering degree program? I have to select some elective modules for my degree program before I start it. And I interested in this module. I want to know about your ideas about it. Thank you!
