Hi Tanvir. Calculus is definitely a TOUGH course. Even so, it is required for an engineering degree. Some engineering fields use the basics of calculus more than others. Depending on what specific job type you want within mechanical engineering you may not have to rely on utilizing that fun calculus in your every day life. However, passing all of the calculus classes is daunting. I would suggest finding a tutor or a study group to help along the way. Realizing that you aren't alone and others may be struggling too can really help put things in perspective. Tutor- study group- attending the professor's office hours- all of these are good steps to help you make it through! Best of luck to you. Kristin
