I recently just graduated high school in 2017 and I have a ton of questions on like day-to-day life of a civil engineer. Do you have any advice that you could give me to help me out?

Most definitely!!!! Like any job, it is work.  Most days I am in the office. Our world has become more and more computer/electronic based, so i do spend most time on the computer or traveling to other offices for meetings.  Every now and then, probably 12 times a year, I go out on site visits. This is where i get to see my work in action.  The best projects are multi-story buildings, where you can literally see the progression of the building from the top down. Biggest advice is to find which specialty gets you excited, and find great people to work with.  They are who keep you going.  Keep asking questions.
