Do you travel a lot as a chemical engineer?

It really depends on your job position and company to determine if you travel. Most engineers don't travel as much unless they're going to other sites to help build that plant from ground up.  Yes, it is possible to travel as a chemical engineer. If you would like to travel ALOT look into engineering consulting.
