Young Scientist Challenge Young Scientist Challenge -one with some of 3M's top scientists and engineers. A new challenge is posted in December, and entries are due in April. Finalists are announced in June/July and receive an amazing summer of mentoring before the grand prize winner is chosen in October. Don't let the name fool you.
