As for your interest in studying Civil Engineering and worried about not having a Physics background...do NOT let that hold you back!! Physics is important, but if you feel you are a little "weak" or "less competent" in Physics, that should not (by any means) hold you back from a successful Civil Engineering program in college. Remember that at just about any campus, you will find study groups and teacher assistants along with upper classmen/women that are always willing and able to help you hurdle any study topics to successfully complete a course. All my prior college years, I was a straight A student...so studying was never really an issue...UNTIL I made it to college and run into subjects I truly struggled with (I even failed one of my Civil Engineering courses) but with the help of some study groups and the help the instructor offered with office hours, I was able to pass the course the following semester without a problem. Don't ever give up!! I hope you continue to pursue your interests in engineering...it truly is one of the most rewarding accomplishments of my life...and the work opportunities continue to present themselves...so don't quit and I'm wishing you GREAT success now and in your future!! -Priscilla
