Hey Jennifer,My dream is to work for Nike and make performance clothing because I love the company and what they stand for. Do I need to get my master's degree in order to work for Nike? Thanks

I am studying Materials Science and Engineering with a polymeric concentration and a chemistry minor at Clemson. I don't necessarily need to be on the R&D side of production but just want to work for the company.

The short answer is "no." I do not have a master's degree and there are several other folks in my department that do not either. That being said, I would add that about 50% of my department do have a master's or PhD, and there are some job openings which require applicants to have either a graduate degree or additional years of experience, so a master's degree will give you more opportunities to get into the company. Hope that helps, and good luck!
