Biomedical engineering is not purely related to Machines. There is a lot more here. Selecting the subject - " Bioinformatics", you can go ahead with Tissue engineering . Tissue engineering is basically applying technology upto cellular level. A person need to be technically expert in doing the same . Learning Biomedical engineering you can always do the needful. Scope will be basically in Biotechnology companies, Research and development units of Pharma companies.
