Average work schedule

It all depends on the job. Currently I work an 8am-5pm schedule with half of the week being in the office and the other half being out in the field. With my current job in operations I have to do nightwatch every 8 weeks. This involves me being on call from 5pm-8am and on the weekend in case there is anything wrong with the network. The majority of jobs I have had in the past have had an 8-5 or 7:30-4:30 schedule and is pretty normal for most office jobs.
