Why did you choose engineering as your profession? What do you do as this kind of engineer? Was there anyone who helped you become an engineer?

Hello! And thanks for your question. I chose engineering because I wanted to make a difference! I have always loved technology and cool gadgets. I had plenty of mentors along the way including my father (an engineer), my mother (encouraging and supportive), and teachers who supported me. I was lucky to have an early exposure to engineering. In my field, I do all sorts of different water-related projects. I love projects that are drinking water supply, large hydraulics, groundwater, or climate resiliency.
