And thanks for your question. I chose engineering because I wanted to make a difference! I have always loved technology and cool gadgets. I had plenty of mentors along the way including my father (an engineer), my mother (encouraging and supportive), and teachers who supported me. I was lucky to have an early exposure to engineering. In my field, I do all sorts of different water-related projects. I love projects that are drinking water supply, large hydraulics, groundwater, or climate resiliency. Check out www.andromedadumont.com and my IG @dumontandi where I detail lots of information on what I do day-to-day! See you there!
