I am actually a water resources engineer, though I work with some environmental engineers! The most critical skills to have in any type of consulting-based engineering are technical writing, analytical, and social skills. Most of the day-to-day activities for an environmental engineer are going to meetings, talking to communities or clients, and writing up findings. Of course, there's the more technical, fun side of it too! But necessary technical skills vary by project and you're sure to learn them at university or on-the-job experience! For a bit of insight into what I do as a water engineer, head over to my website www.andromedadumont.com. See you there!
