Did you take time off in between obtaining your bachelors and masters to work? Specifically to structural engineering, most BS programs are for Civil Engineering where you can take a few structural specific electives but not many. I obtained most of background and knowledge in advanced degree program. I would just caution to make sure you expedite your Master's degree program, unless you truly love it, often you can get stuck in long projects. I went and recommend going straight into Master's program after BS degree. The only exception would be a love for travel. Good luck!
