Biography
Jenn Dandrea is a mechanical engineer trying to better the world one airplane at a time. She started at Boeing in 2007 as a Manufacturing/Design Engineer supporting the 737 P8-A interiors. She joined flight test to support the certification testing on Boeing’s new composite airplane, the 787-8 in 2008, as certification of the airplane focused around Environmental Control Systems and weather testing, including hot and cold performance. In 2011, Jenn moved to 747-8 Interiors Integration Design Engineering where she functioned as a liaison between the interiors engineering groups and flight test teams. She created and owned testing documentation to support interior testing of the 747-8i from first flight to first delivery. After design, she managed to secure a positon in Liaison Engineering (MRB/Production Support) for the 747-8, primarily supporting Major Structure. At the end of 2012, she became a manager for Preflight and Delivery Engineering for the 747/767/777. Jenn oversaw a team of high preforming engineers as they successfully delivered the World's Best Airplanes on time and safely. In March 2015, Jenn was accepted into the Boeing Enterprise Auditor (EA) Program for a 2 year rotation in Corporate Audit. Her audits to date include the New Boeing Charleston Delivery Center, Airplane Development Risk, Issues and Opportunities and HR Recruiting Records Information Management. The EA program allows her to travel to various locations and work with different teams while learning about the different business units to gain a better understanding on how the company works. Jenn absolutely loves her job and is passionate about her career. She strives to create and lead high performing teams in a challenging and fun work environment. Prior to Boeing, Jenn worked as a Manufacturing Engineering overseeing 2 Lean Lines for Drug Eluted Heart Stents at Abbott Vascular in San Diego, CA.
