Have you ever worked with radium?

Because I love learning about things like that.

Thanks for your question! I have not worked with radium, but there is a lot of information online and how radium was discovered is an interesting story.

It was discovered in 1898 by the famous scientist Marie Curie (1867-1934), along with her husband, Pierre Curie. It was found in an ore of uranium called pitchblende.

Radium is ‘glow in the dark’- or luminescent, but because of its radiation, it has relatively few everyday uses.

If you would like to work with interesting elements like radium and others, studying science, chemistry and physics might be of interest when you get to high school.
