I know that this section is for questions, but I want to let you know how inspiring your story is to me, managing school, work AND motherhood- INCREDIBLE! I am friends with some of the engineers at Morrison Hershfield and they have spoken so highly of your company on many occasions. I am working on my second degree and am currently taking math and physics prerequisites for engineering. I have a wide variety of interests in visual arts, sustainability and design, so I am hoping to discover a ...

Hello! My country doesn't have universities offering a degree in manufacturing engineering, so what is the closest engineering major to manufacturing?

Science and math skills are critical for engineering so keep up on these skills in school. Do you like solving problems? This is a critical skillset to have as an engineer. Researching and finding answers to creative practical challenges is what ...

Hello, My name is Chelsea, and I'm in my last semester of school to finally become a mechanical engineer. This summer I am trying to obtain an internship and I have a resume typed up, but my confidence to go out there and find something is not there. I really want an internship to gain experience and build my confidence. But it seems like Ill never get an internship. I don't have such a great GPA and that doesn't help my confidence either. Any pointers? What are companies mainly looking for ...

Even if your GPA is not strong, your degree offers a very desirable skill. I personally did NOT have the opportunity to participate in an internship because I was always working at jobs to maximize my pay in order to put myself through school and not ...

Hello, I am very curious about everything around me- planes in particular. Therefore, i have decided to get a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering and a masters in aeronautical engineering. That being said, i feel very nervous because i happen to be very bad at math and physics. I mean i'm taking ap calc ab and ap physics right now, and i'm not getting the best grades (which is pretty much the case for alot of people in my classes). I however feel that this could be a reflection of what ...
