Being involved in a cancer research
Hi Dr. Tate, Do you know of anyone who is a BME and working in the area of cancer research (ie. improving drug therapies, drug delivery, nanomedicine, improving detection, etc)? I am entering into a Masters program in BME this Fall and my focus will be in cancer. It is a topic that I am most passionate about. I have questions about what various career opportunities/roles there are in that area and what steps are required to get there. I have heard that I can start working in the industry with an MS, but I am also reading information that a PHD is required. I would like to email/talk to someone who is entrenched in cancer research and can provide me more insight. If you know of anyone that may be able to help, I would really appreciate it! Thanks for taking the time to read this. I hope you have a great day!
