Challenges for women in civil engineering
Hi I'm a civil engineering graduate who is working at a construction project in my country. I studied civil engineering since I wanted to structural design engineer. But since I am not a civil engineering graduate of a local university of Sri Lanka , the companies don't give me a chance. They only offer site jobs which is very hard to do. And when I'm in the site they always complain saying they don like to take girls for work. Now I'm feeling depressed and want to change my field. Is there anything you suggest that I could study and get in to something easier? I was thinking of doing CIMA exams.
