Charlotte has held various positions in the telecommunications, consumer electronics, and medical device industries. Most recently, she was a Senior Manufacturing Engineer at Greatbatch Medical in Beaverton, Oregon. Previous to that, she was a Manufacturing Program Manager at EchoStar in Englewood, Colorado. She has also worked on projects with several Fortune 100 companies. Her areas of interest are: Lean Manufacturing, DFM (Design for Manufacturability), and Process Validations. Her engineering work has taken her to various regions of the US, as well as Mexico, and China. Charlotte comes from a family of engineers who provide her with endless inspiration. She grew up watching her father, an Electrical Engineer, work on the first generation IBM computers and her brothers followed a similar path into engineering. As a mother of a toddler, Charlotte joined EngineerGirl to help spark interest in young girls in the areas of STEM. She was born and raised in the Philippines where she earned her degree in Manufacturing Engineering and Management from the prestigious De la Salle University, Manila. She is currently a full-time MBA student at Western Governors University.
