Discrimination at Work
Hi, I am a junior mechanical engineer in a power plant with only three months experience on the job. I want to know why there is so much discrimination on the job. Why do men make me feel as if i can't do the job? It’s really frustrating. At times i wonder if i chose the right discipline. What can I do? I cannot handle this discrimination alone.

Workplace discrimination against women is not new in engineering organisations. Many men including women still believe that engineering is a man's job. Have confidence in yourself and be diligent at work. Strive for perfection in your assignments, be friendly and you will gain the confidence of all and sundry in the shortest possible time
