What I could do in my final years of high school that can prepare me for future engineering classes?
Hi, my name is Claire and i'm going into 11th grade. I am very interested in becoming an engineer, but I don't have any experience in any field what so ever. I'm planning on taking engineering courses in college but I was wondering what I could do in my final years of high school that can prepare me so I don't take these courses with no knowledge and look like a fool. P.S. at the moment I am most interested in Computer Engineering.

    Claire!

You'll be in school to learn stuff you don't know!
So you're not expected to know the info you'll be taught.

Math and science are really the key subjects for any engineering field. Programming can also be really useful.

Other than that, depends on what kind of engineering you want to pursue, extracurriculars like robot competitions etc can be fun, educational and look great on a college application.
