Do I Need to Do An Internship?
Do I need to do an internship, residency, credential program, etc. before starting the career of an electrical engineer on my own? Please reply ASAP! Thank You!

    Dear Kimberly,
    
    It all depends on your goals. If you plan to join an industry upon graduation, it'll be better to intern somewhere to learn the practical industry aspects of Electrical Engineering. However, if you wish to join research groups, a credential program might be partially helpful. A researcher has to be academically independent and sound.
