Transferring from CS to Electronics
Hello, this is Subodh.I am currently in my first year degree of Computer science branch. But as I don't have programming or computer background, I am struggling to dominate on it as I am losing my interest in programming. I am thinking of transferring branch from CSE to ELECTRONICS as I found it interesting in my 1st semester so will it be helpful to build my career? because so many IT companies are expecting programming skills from electronics student. Please help me to sort out this problem.

    Dear Subodh,

It is very clever that change your major when you lost your interest about it. And also it is very brave :) I'm sorry to tell you that I do not have experience and knowledge about IT sector and programming. If you choose Electronics according to your job description you may not need hard core programming skills. Nowadays, in companies, they use software for lots of tasks. You can ask your question to an Electronic Engineers who works in  different areas. I can not tell much because I'm an Electrical Engineer who works in Energy Sector :)

Let me know about your final decision.

    Kind Regards.
