I love math and science, and I'm in the process of building a light bulb. I'm just scared that since I am a girl I won't be taken seriously, and I am scared that I won't be good enough. What should I do? Drop my dream or do it? If you want people to take you seriously, you need to believe that you are worth being taken seriously. If you love math and science, if you want to be an engineer then you are good enough. It sounds like you know how to work hard and be creative, you have everything you need. Now stand up tall and say out loud - I am awesome, I can change the world, I will make a difference. And do DO IT!
