Is it wise to go back for a second bachelor's degree in engineering?
Hi, I am a post-graduate working in the fashion industry in New York. Going into my second year in design, I am realizing this is not the industry for me and wanting to consider other options. I have always had an affinity for problem solving and puzzles and was always charged with putting together furniture growing up. I'm wondering if it is plausible/smart to go back to school and get a degree in Engineerings? Also, I am 25 years old...

    Hello Rachel,
If you are ready for the challenge I say go for it! There are a lot of engineering disciplines that can utilize your design expertise. First, I would say look online to research the different engineering disciplines to see what might fit what you are looking for. Next, I would check out schools and move forward. I am currently a student in Industrial and System Engineering where we focus on process improvement, human computer interaction, product development, manufacturing, facility design etc. it allows you work on just about anything you can imagine. I hope you decide to do it! Hope this helps.
