Working in medical field with degrees in biological and/or biomedical engineering
I am a first year engineering student who has always been set on biomedical engineering. I am a freshman at Purdue and they offer a biological and food processing degree also which has caught my eye. I want to be able to find a job so a more broad degree makes sense and the other areas are interesting to me but I would like to work in the medical field eventually. Can I still work in the medical field with a biological engineering degree? Also often I see biomedical and biological swapped and used as the same word. Can a biological engineer apply for jobs that state biomedical engineer or is the two completely different?
