Hi, my main field of interest and dream is to work in the fragrance industry and cosmetic industry. However I am extremely confused with the course that I need to target. i am not sure if biochemical engineering is the one, or chemical engineering, or biotechnology. Which course should I go for to work in the above mentioned industry? Thanks. I wouldn't worry too much about adding other specialties, but make it known to your advisers and others that you work with that you are very interested in cosmetics and fragrances. Look for opportunities to intern in the area and seek out companies that do the kind of work you hope to be doing. If you know of someone that is doing something similar, take a chance and see if you can set up an informational interview. Find out as much as you can about the field, and try to make connections that will help you to choose courses and set yourself up to be hired when you finish. Good luck.
