It may be that you will take it in college, and that is fine. Ideally you will have some knowledge of the field to help you through college biology, and I am not sure what the college entrance requirements will be in India. You will need to explore that yourself, but if you are serious about a career in biomedical engineering I suggest you find some way to learn about biology even if it is just through independent study.
