Looking for a way to encourage the next generation of students?

EngineerGirl depends upon volunteer engineers to help us continue our programs. Right now there is one opportunity where volunteers are most needed:
Volunteer to help us score the writing contest.
Each year EngineerGirl invites students in grades 3-12 to write an essay on a topic related to engineering. The contest offers students a chance to put their knowledge and creativity to work while introducing them to the role of engineering in society. We may receive as many as 1,000 or more entries in a year, and we are in need of engineers who can read 30 or more essays in February and March to help us select the finalists.
If you are an engineer who would like to get a glimpse into the creativity of future generations, this opportunity may be for you.
Please submit your information below if you would like to be contacted about scoring the writing contest. We generally reach out to potential volunteers in December or January.
