What is the format we should use?

Question: What is the format that we have to put the essay into? Is there one, or do we just put the title, date, and our name?

Answer

There is no required format.  Just include the title in the box that asks for the title, and the essay in the box that asks for the essay.  The submission form will remove any formatting purposely to help us keep everything standard.
