Biography

I graduated as a Electrical Engineer, but started working for an oil and gas contractor as a project engineer. Its been great since, never looked back, lots of traveling to exotic locales, lots of offshore stories and lots of once-in-a-lifetime kind of experiences!

Aira,

Petroleum engineering is a great field. Yes, it is dominated by men but women are slowly entering the field. I have been working in this field for 7 years now and have met many great women engineers.
My advice to you would be to look up all major oil company websites(Chevron, BP, Exxon Mobil etc.) they have a section dedicated to graduate recruitment, that will give you an idea about the qualifications required. Good luck!
