Suzanne Jenniches is recently retired as Vice President and General Manager of the Northrop Grumman Government Systems Division. This Linthicum, MD-based operation includes the Northrop Grumman Electronic Systems businesses for Postal Automation Systems; International Air Defense and Infrastructure Systems; and Homeland Defense. In addition to the Maryland businesses, she was responsible for operational sites in Belgium, France, the Middle East, and North Africa. She led the Northrop Grumman Electronics Systems International Campaign and the Diversity and Inclusion Council for the Sector.
Upon receiving her B.S. in Biology from Clarion State College in 1970, Mrs. Jenniches began her career in science as a high school biology teacher. In 1979, she attained her master's degree in environmental engineering from Johns Hopkins University Whiting School of Engineering evening school and later completed extensive post-graduate work in international affairs at The Catholic University of America. She also attended the Harvard Business School Program for Management Development. Mrs. Jenniches is a past president of the national Society of Women Engineers and has received numerous awards for her leadership and work in advancing the engineering profession.
