Biography
Amelia is a senior chemical engineer for Ecolab’s Food and Beverage Research and Development group. Since graduating from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor in Science in Bioproducts Engineering, her work at Ecolab has supported innovative new product research that directly impacts global food production and safety. Amelia has developed products for global food, protein, and agriculture facilities that protect product quality, maintain consumer food safety, and reduce energy requirements in production plants. She is passionate about sharing food safety best practices and has presented at multiple corporate and industry events. Amelia is a member of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) and volunteers as Membership Chair for the Minnesota Section’s Executive Council.
