Engineers!
Christy Wilson has been teaching since 2012 and each year has been at Ben D. Quinn Elementary. Her first three years were serving kindergarten students and in 2015 she transitioned to fifth grade. In 2013 she was selected to be a Kenan Fellows Master Teacher, and in 2014 she was chosen to be in the North Carolina Governor's Teacher Network. Each of these programs allowed her to create and implement STEM lessons in the elementary classroom. In 2014 she developed an after school STEM club for Ben D. Quinn Elementary and due to an overwhelming positive response it continued the following year. She has two children (Hannah - 15 and Joel - 10) and is married to her husband, Robert Wilson.
