What I Do Currently, I work as a BIM Engineer at Engisoft Engineering in Dubai, UAE. In this role, I create detailed BIM models for various multi-story buildings and steel-framed structures, utilizing Autodesk Revit software. My responsibilities include ensuring the accuracy and completeness of technical drawings and coordinating with project stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.
Why Engineering? I chose engineering because I am passionate about solving real-world problems and making a positive impact through innovative design and construction. Engineering allows me to apply my analytical skills and technical knowledge to create sustainable solutions that enhance communities and infrastructure.
School Days I completed my Master's degree in Civil Engineering with honors from Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and Science, Indore, Madhya Pradesh, and my Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Samrat Ashok Technological Institute, Vidisha, Madhya Pradesh.
My Day At Work A typical day at work involves creating and managing BIM models using Autodesk Revit, coordinating with project teams, conducting clash detection and coordination, and providing progress updates to the BIM Manager. I also support BIM implementation activities, maintain project documentation, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project success.
Best Part What I like best about being an engineer is the opportunity to work on diverse projects, collaborate with talented professionals, and contribute to the built environment in a meaningful way. I enjoy the creative problem-solving aspect of engineering and the satisfaction of seeing projects come to fruition.
Proud Moments One of my proudest career accomplishments is leading the development of detailed BIM models for complex multi-story buildings, which contributed to the successful completion of projects within budget and schedule. Additionally, I am proud of completing online training in BIM application for Roads, Highways & Transportation design, further enhancing my skills in the field.
Challenges Throughout my career, I have faced challenges such as tight deadlines, complex design requirements, and coordination issues. However, through perseverance, collaboration, and continuous learning, I have overcome these challenges and delivered high-quality results.
