What I Do I'm a Materials Engineer working for Chevron, I make sure all the equipment we use to produce and distribute oil and gas is in pristine condition.
School Days I went to school in Caracas, Venezuela and graduated as a Materials Engineer back in 1990.
Proud Moments Last year I celebrated my tenth anniversary at Chevron and achieved several accomplishments with the most prominent being recognized a Chevron Fellow in 2021, which is “Chevron's highest recognition for excellence in technology reserved for those individuals distinguished as innovative developers and deployers of technical solutions to solve business problems, create new opportunities, and have commercial impact on the corporation”. I’m extremely proud of this achievement, with one of the highlights being that I am the first female Latina Fellow in the history of Chevron.
