  • What I Do

Currently I am rotating around different sites performing numerous engineering roles and activities. I am located in Houston, TX at the moment working as a project engineer. I helped write the proposal for the new space suits that will be used on the next mission to the moon!

  • Why Engineering?

I chose engineering because it was a place where i saw constant technical and personal growth. There is always a problem to solve and always a new way to solve it.

  • School Days

I went to school in Colorado State University-Pueblo and graduated with a B.S. in Industrial Engineering. I am currently in grad school at Clemson University for an M.S. in Industrial Engineering as well.

  • My Day At Work

Problems solving, interacting with cross-functional roles to achieve a common goal, process analysis, data collecting, document inspections and drawing releases to name a few.

  • Best Part

I like that every day is different. I also like that people trust you enough to bring you a problem and you have to go on a scavenger hunt to go find the best solution.

  • Proud Moments

I'm proudest of my Excellence Award i received from my Company early 2021. It was given to me for an effort from Jan 2019-Jan 2021. My team and I transferred a plant over to a brand new cell and re-imaged the product and our relationship with the customer to create a multi-million dollar profit center.

  • Challenges

Imposter syndrome has definitely been a challenge during my time as an engineer. For some reason, sometimes I feel like I don't belong in some of the rooms I am in. I always have to remind myself that I am here for a reason, whether that is to actively report out on an issue, or just learn from the great people I'm around in this company.

  • Want to be an Engineer?

Do it! If you can put your mind to things and work hard for a solution, you can be an engineer. Don't let the title scare you.

  • Hobbies

I love to be outside, whether that be hiking through national parks in the summer or snowboarding down some mountains in the winter.
