What I Do In my current role I work to develop a framework for a wholistic partnership with key strategic universities to attract and retain diverse tech talent . That includes providing leadership for Verizon’s recruitment strategies to ensure new tech talent is hired to advance network reliability and performance. Successfully leading cross functional core teams of executive leadership and members from diverse departments as well as university partners to develop a comprehensive partnership. I am also responsible for cultivating strategic partnership that fosters collaboration with 7 universities aligning with university missions, academic programs and research initiatives benefiting the universities and Verizon from a talent, network and business perspective.
Why Engineering? I love the technology and the work we do is extremely exciting. It is great to be a part of helping deliver cutting edge technology to our customers
School Days I have a degree in computer programming, a bachelors in computer science and a masters in management. Both my undergraduate and graduate degrees are from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
My Day At Work Much of the work we do is helping achieve major milestones on our technology projects and today most of that is done virtual through team calls. We work with many teams from our organization as well as with external vendors, and it is extremely rewarding work
Inspiration My daughter has inspired me a great deal I love being a role model for her and showing her all the things women can do in careers in STEM.
