What I Do I work for the network engineering team and am solely responsible for third party communication final billing.
Why Engineering? I chose the engineering field, because in Verizon, engineering leads the company into the future with both design and development. I wanted to be part of the team responsible for bring ideas to fruition. I, however do not have an education or experience in engineering, so for now I help finalize bills and reimbursements.
My Day At Work For now, my day consists of reviewing charges and payments obtained by engineers and third part communication companies. I ensure that all payments are collected or bills are closed for the work Verizon does for those companies.
Best Part Although, my title is a network engineer, I myself am not designing. However, my favorite part is knowing that the success of my company depends on how well my team performs, and my job is critical to the profit of their performance.
Proud Moments Without any experience in this field, my proudest moment was given the opportunity to show how much I care about this cause, when given the position.
Dreams and Goals In the short term, I will master my position. I will prove to my manager that he indeed made the best choice for the team, when hiring me. In the long term, I will have proven by yearn for productivity and given a higher position where I can help develop the ideas and processes in the field.
Inspiration Earlier on, around age 16, I met the most ambitious and successful Hispanic woman. She was my very first boss. I was determined to be as successful as she is.

Hobbies Outside of work, I enjoy taking care of myself both mentally and physically by setting aside an hour for physical activity every morning!
