What I Do

I design trails and roadways that comfortably serve people walking and biking.
Why Engineering?

I love math and liked the idea of an applied field that makes use of math skills.
School Days

I have a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from Lehigh University and a Masters of City and Regional Planning form the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Best Part

I love the variety of the work and the chance to collaborate with other disciplines. In my case that includes planners and landscape architects.
Hobbies

I love to read and discuss books with my book club. The Unwinding was a recent favorite. I love hanging out with my husband and two young kids, going for long walks and to the playground. I love trails and feel lucky to design them!

Volunteer Opportunities

I am willing to be contacted by educators for possible speaking engagements in schools or in after school programs or summer camps.
I am willing to serve as a sponsor or coach for an engineering club or team.
I am willing to serve as science fair judge or other temporary volunteer at a local school.
I am willing to host a field trip to my place of employment.
