  • What I Do

Presently, I am an Algebra 1 teacher and co-founder of the Women's Engineering in our school.

  • Why Engineering?

I believe Engineering is one of the successful field where you can apply your knowledge in creating and building structures like houses, commercial building, bridges and a lot more.

  • School Days

I graduated from Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology, Cabanatuan City, Philippines with the Degree of Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and Master in Engineering Education major in Civil Engineering.

  • My Day At Work

I've been in the construction industry at the CNA Construction company and at the same time I was teaching in the Civil Engineering for 20 years.

  • Best Part

The best part in being an Engineer is the opportunity to build structures and apply what you have learned in the classroom.

  • Proud Moments

I am proud of my career because I was the first Lady Engineer in our place during that time, 1979.

  • Challenges

Being a Lady Engineer was very challenging.  One time I was asked to test the concrete that they are about to pour when we were constructing a huge water tank, it was really scary because it was too high and I am afraid to climb.

  • My Family

I am married for 42 years and I have four boys. Now, they already have their own family.

  • Dreams and Goals

My short term goal, I would like to help my students build projects related to engineering.  My long term goal, I would like to go back to my country and continue with my career as a civil Engineer.

  • Inspiration

The greatest influence in my life was my father. I was the one who fulfill his dream of becoming a Civil Engineer.

  • Want to be an Engineer?

For young woman nothing is wrong of becoming a lady engineer. It's a prestige because man and woman are born with equal opportunity.

  • Hobbies

I enjoy going to the gym and exercise. We need to maintain our body to have good health and long life.

Biography
I've been an engineer and a teacher through out my life and it is of great privilege and opportunity to be with young men and women who I think are needed the most to have a great future for the nation.
