What made you decide to become an engineer? Was engineering your first choice?

Hi Ingris! 

At a young age, I had a passion for math, science, innovation, design and art. By the age of 11, I was introduced to aerospace engineering through a program available at my elementary school. That program showed me how aerospace engineering combines my passions while also providing the bonus of working on planes, rockets, satellites and so much more. Engineering technically was my first choice because it encompassed the many career interests that I had: mathematician, scientist, inventor, designer.
