My childhood was full of support from my family and quite a few mentors, but also full of self-exploration and self-discovery. Although my parents exposed me to mathematics, my curiosity led me to the sciences. I wanted to understand the world and understand how to solve problems. My favorite achievement so far…that’s a great question! My favorite achievement so far would have to be believing in myself. I know that might sound corny, but I really struggled with believing in my abilities and it is an ongoing battle at times. Because I continue to win that battle, you are able to see and read about my outward achievements.
